The Frigo strawberry plant "Elsanta" has been the most popular strawberry plant variety for the greenhouse and for the home garden for many years. Large,medium red shiny fruits can be harvested as early as May if well cared for. Otherwise, the firm fruits are harvested in July / August. The exceptional aroma is sweet, ideal for making jam and otherdelicacies. Also well suited as a strawberry meadow: just water sufficiently and let it grow - without fertilizer.

Question from a customer: "There are few or no leaves on the plants delivered".

"This is normal and correct with Frigo plants. The plants with leaves will still lose the "old leaves".
The plant forms new shoots from the rhizome. In 4 weeks the strawberries will bloom and after another 25-30 days the harvest will begin.
Please put the plants in the ground, water well and then wait."
