The sturdy natural fibre professional hall broom with a width of 28cm consists of a broom back made of saddle wood and Arenga fibres.
The moisture-resistant Arenga fibres make sweeping pleasant and easy, even on wet floors, without the fibres sticking together. Natural fibre Arenga brooms can be worn down to the end, as the fibres straighten up again on their own.
They are used as bristle brooms for rough environments and are moisture resistant. They are also less suitable as residential brooms as they do not build up static.
Arenga fibre is very similar in appearance to the tail hair of the horse, which is why they used to be called vegetable horse hair.
