Fields of application:

calgosec Stalleinstreu is a bedding product for drying the walking and lying surfaces in the stable and for improving the air quality in the direct environment of the animals. The product is preferably used for keeping cows, calves, pigs, horses, sheep, goats and poultry.

calgosec stable litter is a pleasant smelling substance that gently binds moisture. This improves the stable climate and relieves the animals' respiratory tract.

calgosec stable litter binds faeces and urine without forming lumps. The lying areas thus remain dry. The drier environment supports claw and hoof health and improves udder health. The slipperiness of the floor and thus the stability of the animals is improved.

The occurrence of fly larvae and the multiplication of micro-organisms is inhibited.

calgosec stable litter can also be used in claw bath tubs as a "dry bath".

calgosec Stalleinstreu dries piglet skin and coat after birth and thus reduces the drop in body temperature. The product is spread on freshly born piglets and lying areas (approx. 1 kg/litter).

calgosec stable bedding is also suitable for use in calf stalls and calf igloos.
